We are pleased to announce that a Gender Equality Event organized within the project Embedding RRI in Western Balkan Countries, will take place on July 2nd, starting at 10:00.
A Gender Equality plan is a set of actions for identification of gender bias, implementing procedures to correct them and setting measurable indicators for monitoring the progress.
The project emphasizes the importance of gender dimensions in research and innovation and also aims to establish a working group on the development of Gender Equality Plans. We invited guests from the European Commission, the Regional Cooperation Council and representatives from research performing organisations from several countries to the event.
This initiative for mutual learning is important and timely because participating in Horizon Europe will require a much deeper understanding of gender equality issues as well as plans for institutional development on the topic, so called Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) which become an eligibility criteria for participation in this prestigious programme (starting with all deadlines in 2022).
The event is dedicated to all researchers, policy makers and practitioners dealing with research across the Western Balkans (and the EU).
