On 17.05.2022, at the premises of Double Tree by Hilton Skopje hotel, a forum was held on the topic “Skills for a green city”, organized within the framework of the Project “European VET Excellence Platform for Green Innovation – GREENOVET” and the initiative “European Vocational Skills Week”. The event was attended by representatives of the City of Skopje, secondary vocational schools, higher education institutions and other state institutions related to vocational education and training and green innovations, as well as representatives of the business sector, in order to promote the benefits of vocational education and training. and to share best practices in one place.
Professional skills are the key to a faster green transition of the economy and society in general, and therefore it is necessary for all stakeholders to actively and intensively work on their development and inclusion in curricula and educational processes, was the conclusion of the forum “Skills for a Green City”. At the event, it was emphasized that entrepreneurial skills should be the foundation on which education will be built in the future, through EntreComp trainings for teachers, which are key in the process of knowledge transfer to students.
