On January 25, 2019 at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism in Ohrid, a stakeholders meeting was held with the aim of implementing the recommendations from the analysis of the innovation potential in the area and strengthening the communication among the stakeholders. At the meeting, the project results were presented as well as planned activities from which the opening of the Innovation HUB was highlighted. The opportunities offered by the same were promoted in detail for all stakeholders, in particular:
- Support for promotion of curricula for the University, as well as promotion through an innovative center
- Opportunity to attract innovative SMEs and Startups to improve their own business and
- Possibility to improve the local economic structure by strengthening the cooperation in the cross-border area
At the meeting participated Representatives from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, Municipality of Ohrid, the business community and project partners. The official opening of the Innovation HAB was announced followed by the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the University “St. Kliment Ohridski “- Bitola and the University” Fan S. Noli “in Korca.
