Workshop for capacity building for SMEs and start-ups in the Innovation hub in Ohrid

For the purposes of the project “Innovation Eco-System in the CBC-area” (INNOV8), as part of the IPA program for pre-accession assistance by the European Commission represented by the Delegation of EU in the Republic of North Macedonia, there was a presentation by PhD Radmil Polenakovik and PhD Borislav Nestoroski about “Capacity Building in SME-s and Start-Ups”. The presentation was held at Innovation hub at the Faculty for Tourism and Hospitality-Ohrid on 20.12.2019 in the presence of representatives of the SME-s, active sport associations and eco-groups and grant applicants from Ohrid and Struga.

This project is implemented in order to enhance the educational system and business sector to support SME-s and to increase its competitiveness. The aims of the project include economy development, decrease of immigration, drop of the level of “brain-drain” trend and improving the cross-border cooperation.

The main applicant of this project is EuroPartners Development and the co-applicants are: the National Agency for Scientific research and innovation (AKKSHI) from Republic of Albania, Fund for Innovation and Technology Development and the National Center for Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Learning, both from the Republic of North Macedonia.

The Innovation Hub will bring about to administrative support, information, coordinative activities of the stakeholders, trainings and workshops to raise the innovative ideas. Also, there will be collaboration maintained with the Innovation Hub in Korçë.
