Within the project ” Intelligent Cross-Border Accelerator for Innovative Start-ups (ICBA)”, funded by the European Union, the project partners University for Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle”, Youth Entrepreneurship Service Foundation and the National Center for Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Learning (NCDIEL), three motivational events were organized, through the online platform ZOOM, for participants from Ohrid, Bitola and Prilep. The objective of the events was to encourage young people from the border region to become entrepreneurs, by bringing the business world closer through the guest speakers. At the same time, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the planned activities of the project, how they can take part and share their views, challenges and good practices to support entrepreneurship.

On December 18th, a motivational event for participants from Bitola was held. A total of 62 young people and entrepreneurs were present, as well as key stakeholders for the economic development of the region, working to support and develop entrepreneurship in the region. Mr. Petar Ninovski, founder of the startup company Brainster, as one of the most successful young entrepreneurs in this region, was present as a motivational speaker. He presented his entrepreneurial experience, how he created his own business and the key elements of growing a business.

In the second part of each event, an interactive part followed with a question and answer session for the entrepreneur and the members of the project team by the participants. The event ended with a summary of the content that was discussed and the main conclusions that were reached, emphasizing the future activities as part of this project as well as the technical aspects of how to follow them.
